Iyengar Yoga
I began my yoga journey in 2013 when I discovered an Iyengar yoga class in Portland, Oregon. In 2023, I began my teacher training in the Iyengar tradition under the guidance of Meghan Goodman, and I am currently preparing for my Level 1 Assessment.
Iyengar yoga emphasizes precise alignment and mindful attention to detail, utilizing props to adapt postures for different bodies and abilities. Through my own practice, I have experienced its profound benefits for mental well-being. This approach makes yoga accessible, allowing people of all body types and experience levels to enjoy both the physical and mental rewards of practice.
